Four of the students who made professions of faith during Oak Grove’s Vacation Bible School made it public Sunday, June 14, at the end of the morning worship service. They will be baptized at the end of June.

The flag and Bible bearers lead the way into Vacation Bible School 2009. VBS began Sunday afternoon, June 7, with home-made ice cream, the worship rally and registration.
Oak Grove recognized its University and high school graduates during the May 24 morning worship service.
A picnic lunch was part of the May 17 youth outing. The outing, following the morning worship service, included a bike ride, picnic, tour of a local museum and a fishing trip.

Team captain Jim Tribble presents the church’s Relay for Life team’s plaque to Bruce Thomas, chairman of the deacons and a cancer survivor. The Oak Grove team raised $40,785 for this year’s Relay and was the top fundraising team. Trigg County raised $119,025.75 for the May 8-9 event.
